Preparations Start for the Dublin City of Science 2012

Mr. Conor Lenihan T.D., Minister for Science, Technology & Innovation, met today, March 3rd 2010, with Professor Enric Banda, President of Euroscience; Professor Cunningham, Chief Scientific Adviser to the Government; and Michael O'Leary, Secretary to the Board of Forfás, to mark the formal commencement of preparations for Dublin City of Science 2012.
Both Minister Lenihan and Professor Banda addressed the inaugural meeting of the Local Organising Committee for Dublin City of Science 2012., which is chaired by Professor Cunningham.
